If you want an easy access to storage, go to the guild hall. If your guild hall doesn't have it, buy it. NPC's in the GH FTW!!!

I mean the hotkey is in the town only. and u can only use it if u get access to a xunlai agents. So if u havent' unlocked it or its not present in town, then the key does not do anything.
Some people who like to RP and who loves to use talk to the xunlai agent are always encouraged to keep doing that. So if u want to interact with the characters world and not use the hotkeys, play it your way.

Your not really getting the point. The whole idea of an MMO is to interact with NPCs and characters. Its meant to mimic a phantasy world, but still maintain realism such as talking to people, traders, venders and using a bank or a storage.
Regardless of whether you can only use this "hotkey" after you purchase a storage account, and only if your inside a town, makes no difference.
Its still discouraging people to actually interact with NPCs and follow what an MMO or RPG is.
If we added this feature, people would then want a hotkey to access traders, armor venders and dye traders without actually interacting with them. Where would that leave the game? we wouldnt even need the NPCs.
You would have entire towns, where people just stood in one location and no one actually spoke to the traders.
As I said before, if you dont want to have to interact with NPCs then dont play an MMO. They are fundimental parts of the game. This idea of having to walk from location to location and talk to every person ingame is part of an MMO/RPG.
We cant put shortcuts in to get around them.
The system your asking for, reminds me of something like DOOM3 or any other FPS, where you just click inventory and everything you need is right there.
But even FPS now have NPCs in them which you need to interact with. Its not that I dont sympathise with you. I know it can be frustrating to walk all of 2 feet to speak to a storage vender at times, but its how it works.
As for it being hard to find storage in some locations....
....open your eyes and explore, or hold down the alt key and watch all the nice green NPC names show up. I've been there myself when its hard to find them...... you ask people!!!!
Try playing WoW. Compared to GWs, its alot harder to find NPCs you want. Anet has been extremely nice giving us reasonable small towns/cities and putting every trader you need in one locaton. Its like a very nicely rapped package with everything you need inside.

You mean like these people? Lightning Bolt RP Battle There are plenty of Lightning Bolts being tossed here (just turn up your speakers). HAHA
On a serious note, with the world becoming smaller with more technology, the world has spiraled into a state of laziness. What used to be done by hand 10-20-50 years ago, is now automated by machines because it is more efficient and productive. I can see that he wants to maximize his productivity by not spending an extra 5 seconds talking to an NPC. I for one, am not in favor for this. Because the world is getting smaller due to technology, a lot of our brains are brainwashed that being lazy is acceptable. I guarantee that the 5-10 seconds that it takes to locate the storage NPC person would not be productive elsewhere in that same alloted time if there was this system. Luckily, we are given keyboard shortcuts to help us (why? because all of us..including myself are lazy to go to OPTIONS>GUILD or OPTIONS>INVENTORY) everytime we want something. Along with this, they did manage to put in both the ALT and the CTRL keys to help. I would say that 99% of people never have problems locating an NPC within a 1-2 minute time frame. If you still have trouble after that, I am sure asking someone in a town is out of the question, because you probably think that no one will ever help or give advice. Contrary to what a lot may believe, I feel that there are a lot more useful, helpful, nice people playing Guild Wars than there are scammers or any people that ruin the reputation of the game as being one of the best.
In conclusion to my novel, which will hit as a Time's Best Seller entitled "Not Being Lazy: A Guild Wars story", just the tools you are given. Enjoy the created world that you are in while playing Guild Wars. Does it really hurt for you to ask or spend a minute or two looking around? Maybe they can introduce a town-only minimap (different from the minimap you currently see when you press U in town) with icons for all the various (important) types of NPCs in a town unless they can squeeze everything onto the existing minimap you see when in a town. But all-in-all, please don't be lazy.
Ok.....am I still on topic? I hope so

Why not just do it like this:
/Not signed.
There's a much easier way to do things the lazy man's way which I've been using for ages since I discovered it by accident. It's simple: talk to Xunlai Agent to open storage, walk away, storage window still stays open. It can then be used anywhere in town until you close it. That way you can run around all the merchants and traders, sell all you want, buy all you want, and manage your storage/gold without having to run back and forth like an idiot. Personally I'm surprised that a lot people haven't clicked on sooner about this method .
